I remember when my younger sister and I were in grade school and my parents had just gotten us a new pair of sneakers for school. You guys should try this out just for the fun of it.

Every month is a new theme for a self-portrait. You have to take your own pic. Nobody else can take it for you. Tripod, timer is fine.

This month is "Introducing Yourself" Suggestions include showing yourself with a hobby, something important to you, even a person close to your heart. This is pretty much wide open, and you'll have a lot of liberties with this month's theme.

OH goody, goody!!! I would have LOTS of them!
1. Two Chinchillas - Gray one and a white one. Male and female to have babies.
2. Prairie dog - just plain brown.
3. Cat - black with white under neck and on paws
4. Two Macaw parrots - One red and one blue and gold.
5. Several conures, definitely a rainbow one.

7. A dog (mute) for my son to run and play with.

I miss my best friend Pat. We used to get together every Wednesday for my son and her granddaughter to play and she and I would quilt or crochet, or just look at those kinds of books and dream about what we would want to make next. She always made me feel right at home. I could talk to her about anything.

I also miss my Mom TERRIBLY!!! She always knew when I was down and exactly what to say. Now she's in Texas and I'm in NC, just because I chose to marry a wonderful guy who turned out to be worse than a jerk. Now I'm stuck up here in NC and have no money to go back home to see her or move back there. :( I miss you Mom!! I LOVE you!!! ♥

I didn't have one. I was a loner.

My father didn't allow me to date.

I didn't eat the regular lunches because they were nasty. But I would go to the snack bar and get something from there, or would bring my own lunch.

I skipped a club meeting once. If I didn't want to go to school that day, I would just tell my Mom that I was sick. She would make me stay in bed all day long.

Yes, so I could pay better attention to my teachers and learn more.

My son has created 2 different pictures on www.thisissand.com and I have accidently erased BOTH of them by rebooting the computer because it got stuck! His last picture was awesome. There's no way he can duplicate it. I tried 3 times to submit it to the sand galleray, but it just "loaded" forever, so I would stop it and try again later. And it still wouldn't take it. I don't know why because it accepted 3 in a row a few days earlier from our neighbor's kids off of this computer.

So when my son came home from the Girl Scout Car Wash, I had to tell him that I deleted his picture. You should have seen his face. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen. He worked so hard on that picture and it was absolutely beautiful!!!! And it was All my fault BOTH time that his picture got erased.
